As the Gundalow Company grows so does our need for community involvement! We already have many volunteers who help as deckhands, educators, rowers, interpreters, maintenance crew, and more, but continuing to meet our mission of protecting the Piscataqua Region’s maritime heritage and environment through education and action takes a village.
The non-profit Gundalow Company seeks volunteers interested in helping to plan and execute several fun events throughout the year in order to raise funds for our organization. Events include our existing Gundalow Gatherings and Party for Piscataqua as well as the new River Festival. In addition, operations and event volunteers will help in the office with mailings, data entry, or other tasks that help us to promote and further our mission. We are looking for people interested in taking a leadership role as well as folks interested in providing legwork on an as needed basis. Our hope is that this is a fun, motivated group who can bring new ideas to build up our yearly events.
If you are interested in learning more, please attend our first meeting on January 7th at 5:00. We will talk briefly about the volunteer role and give an overview of our events for the year and get started brainstorming new ideas.
