Put your ocean creativity and passion to work by entering one of these amazing competitions sponsored by Bow Seat.  Bow Seat Ocean Awareness Programs are designed to inspire the future ocean caretakers by promoting education and engagement with the arts, science, and advocacy.  This year they are offering two contests for students in middle and high school

2017 Ocean Awareness Student Contest 

Bow Seat‘s 2017 Ocean Awareness Student Contest is now open! Creative and ocean-loving middle and high school students are invited to submit visual art, poetry, prose, or film that illustrates the 2017 theme – Ocean Pollution: Challenges & Solutions. Students can earn awards of up to $1,500 for themselves and their schools!

2017 Marine Debris Creative Advocacy Competition

Get creative and make a difference in your school or community by entering Bow Seat‘s Marine Debris Creative Advocacy Competition! Students in grades 6-12 are challenged to combine art, education, and activism to prevent marine debris, and they can earn awards of up to $5,000!
