Directions to the Dock and Gundalow

The Piscataqua sails from our dock at Prescott Park, at the end of Water Street. If navigating on road by GPS enter “60 Marcy Street” in Portsmouth. Water Street is a private alley approximately 50 yards down the street from our gift shop, and across the street from the restaurant Mombo. The dock is located at the end of Water Street. If you visit our gift shop at 60 Marcy Street we are happy to point you in the right direction.

Driving Directions to Portsmouth and the Gundalow Company

From Concord, NH area, take Rt 4 East to Portsmouth Traffic Circle, then I-95 N to Exit 7
From North of Portsmouth, take I-95 South to Exit 7
From South of Portsmouth, take I-95 North to Exit 7

From Exit 7: At the end of the ramp, head south toward the center of Portsmouth: left if coming from the north, right if coming from the south. Proceed approximately one mile, through one traffic light, to a yellow blinking light. At this blinking light veer to the right onto Russell St.(by the Sheraton). At the stop sign at the end of Russell Street, turn right. At the next intersection, make a left turn onto Maplewood Ave. Stay in the left lane and go through 2 sets of lights. At the third set of lights take a left onto State Street. Get into the right-hand lane on State Street. Go through 2 sets of lights and continue to the stop sign where State St. intersects with Marcy St. Take a right onto Marcy St. – Prescott Park is on your left hand side.

Camp Locations

Gundalow River Rats and Discovery camps are held at various locations in the region. All camp registrants should receive details and directions by email at least a week prior to their camp. If you have not seen this, please contact us to update your contact information.

The dock at Adams Point, Durham, NH

From Newmarket you’d take Bay Rd and turn right on to Adams Point Rd, all the way to the parking lot at the end.

From Durham, you’d get to Durham Point Rd and turn left on to Adams Point Rd, all the way to the parking lot at the end.

There may be additional parking available shortly before the end of the road, by the boat launching area.
