Step aboard the Gundalow and head out on the Piscataqua River for an exciting sail designed just for homeschool families. While aboard, participants will set the sail, steer the vessel, take part in learning stations and spend time connecting with the Piscataqua Maritime Region.
This fall our Homeschool Sail will take place on Friday, Sept 16 from 2:00-4:15 in Great Bay. The boat will leave from Adams Point in Durham for a 2 hour and 15 minute sail. While aboard the Gundalow, we will test for water quality, do a plankton tow, learn some knots, and more! Whether you’ve sailed with us before or this is your first time, this is sure to be a wonderful sail and a great way to kick off the fall season and try out some scientific equipment first hand.
This program is geared towards students ages 7 and up.
