Dear Friends of the Gundalow Company,
The Gundalow Company begins our 16th season with a strong foundation and dedicated staff. Our future looks strong and bright. Like other organizations, we face change and change is upon us now. Molly Bolster has announced that she is stepping down from her position as of September 1st, 2018. Molly was one of the founding board members of the Gundalow Company in 2002 and became the Executive Director a year later.
During the past fifteen years, she guided the Gundalow Company through steady growth, lead the capital campaign and the construction of PISCATAQUA, and built a first-rate organization. Molly’s commitment has benefitted not only the organization, but also the community at large. We will miss her confident guidance but know she is leaving a financially strong organization, as well as an outstanding staff and crew committed to our mission.
In the coming weeks, we will start the search process for the new Executive Director. We hope to find a person that reflects the honesty, integrity and commitment that Molly has exhibited over her long tenure. The Board wishes Molly smooth sailing in her next adventure – she and her husband Jeff will sail away in the fall to extend their horizons beyond Portsmouth.

Dear Friends of the Gundalow Company,
Helping all of you to build and grow this organization has been the high point of my professional life. It has been a tremendous honor for me to be part of the Gundalow Company, and I am filled with mixed emotions about leaving.
That said, there are different chapters in life, and my husband Jeff and I are embarking on some new adventures together.
Thank you all for your support of our mission and vision. It has been deeply satisfying to work with you all, including some who have been part of this journey since 2002.
I am confident that the Gundalow Company will continue to thrive. We have a wonderfully capable and dedicated staff and crew. We have a strong and committed board and enthusiastic volunteers. All of this bodes well for moving the organization to the next level. I have felt more strongly each year about the relevance of our programs for school groups and the public. The addition of River Rats Camp speaks to the potential to reach a wider audience.
The Gundalow Company is on track to continue making steady progress each year towards creating the next generation of river and bay stewards.
