Together with Piscataqua Region Estuaries Partnership and UNH Cooperative Extension/The Stewardship Network: New England we are staging a 1 day clean up of multiple sites around Great Bay. During the month of May, volunteers around Great Bay have spent hours in their kayaks and canoes, surveying the shores of Great Bay to locate and map garbage and marine debris. This project is run through the Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management and monitors 23 invasive species at over 38 sites from Rhode Island to Maine.
