Join us on Tuesday Sept 6th for a 2 hour sunset sail from 5-7pm and a talk with Jill Farrell from the Piscataqua Region Estuaries Partnership.
Our sunset sail leaves from Prescott Park and will take you out on the waters of Portsmouth Harbor. While aboard Jill will discuss why clean water matters and what we can do about it.
Tickets for this sail are a special discounted rate of $18 thanks to the support of the New Hampshire Coastal Program and RBC Wealth Management.
Jill Farrell is the Community Impact Program Manager for the Piscataqua Region Estuaries Partnership. She is responsible for outreach, communications, data sharing, community engagement and stakeholder coordination. Jill is also PREP’s social media maven on Twitter (@PREPCommunity) and Facebook (/PREPCommunity). Jill received her Masters of Science in Natural Resources with a focus on Environmental Policy from UNH in May 2011. Her thesis research centered on participatory action and citizen and stakeholder engagement in the Winnicut River Watershed and her project helped to form the Winnicut River Watershed Coalition. Jill is a native of Cape Cod, Massachusetts and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Loyola University New Orleans. Jill lives in New Castle with her husband and Golden Retriever, Toby.
