All Things Oysters:
Growin’, Shuckin’, Enjoyin’
Humans have been eating and cultivating oysters for thousands of years.
Brianna Group of The Nature Conservancy (TNC) will team with Brian Gennaco of Virgin Oyster for a night of ‘all things oysters.’ Brianna will discuss restoration efforts in Great Bay and TNC’s SOAR program, which is partnering with oyster farmers for restoration success during COVID. Brian will provide oysters and oyster knives beforehand and talk about the oyster farm and give shucking demonstrations.
Oysters and shucking knives will be available for pickup or local delivery on the day of the event but must be pre-ordered by March 29th: 12 “sweet petite” oysters for $16 ($30 with an oyster knife); pickup in Dover or at Gundalow office in Portsmouth. Cash, check or Venmo accepted at time of pickup.
